Chris Gomm studied fine art in Oxford and London and has worked commercially as a freelance sculptor. His clients include:-The Museum of London, The Victoria & Albert Museum, The Royal Opera House, The National Army Museum, The National Museum of Ireland, The Benaki Museum (Athens) amongst others.
Chris has always been interested in classical styles of art and has recently produced a series of wall hanging relief sculptures inspired by his visits to temples, monuments, museums and churches.
The sculptures are made from a compound of plaster of Paris and acrylic polymer for lightness and durability.
They are available painted in a variety of colours and finished with a wax glaze for indoor use and also in a weather resistant stone finish, suitable for displaying outdoors.
He is able to undertake private commisions.
